A Cargocycle not only has a greatly increased carrying capacity, the extra frame work and body surface make it possible to add accessories that previously had not been practical. A full lighting set including. side lights, brake lights and indicators, a button operated horn, and a security alarm could be readily fitted.

The addition of a heavy duty battery, an electric motor and a solar panel would make it the world’s first solar/electric cycle that can carry a full shopping trolley load. It is street legal, noise and pollution free, and is the most practical way of putting zero emission vehicles into large scale production.
